The Statistical Office of the Bologna Chamber of Commerce promotes and realizes the collection, elaboration, spread and archiving of statistical data on the Metropolitan Area of Bologna also through commerce registers. Moreover, it undertakes, on behalf of  ISTAT, the provincial coordination of official statistics.

The service addresses to enterprises, professionals, students, teachers, families and organizations working in the fields of agriculture, industry, trade and services.

Furthermore, the service provides for free statistical tables on the consistency of the provincial enterprises.
